TERMS

The project is scheduled to start in APRIL 2024 and will run for approximately 10+ months until at least the end of December 2024 (with the option to extend).
Contract type: fixed-term employment or freelance project.
The position requires a commitment of 60 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementing distributed control systems (DCS) for industrial processes.
Utilizing software to manage systems and processes effectively.
Ensuring proper installation, configuration, and functionality of DCS components through troubleshooting.
Conducting maintenance, upgrades, and modifications of DCS, including overseeing contractor work.
Managing projects related to DCS implementation and maintenance, including budgeting and scheduling.
Preparing technical documentation and providing DCS operation training as required.
Coordinating operations with internal and external teams, potentially leading teams for complex engineering solutions.
Providing customer support for DCS.
Safeguarding DCS security and ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
3+ years of DCS engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in mathematics and technical skills.
Knowledge of DCS computer hardware and software, including PLCs / SCADA / HMI programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.
Experience in team and project management.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Previous apprenticeship or relevant work experience is advantageous.
Fluent in English.
Possession of a valid EU Driver's License or equivalent.
