RESPONSIBILITES

We seek a highly skilled (Pre-) Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) to oversee Containerized Electrolysis Plants' pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up. This pivotal role requires comprehensive technical expertise in Hydrogen and Cryogenic processing plants and a solid foundation in multiple engineering disciplines on-site.

  • Direct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring equipment and systems meet design specifications through detailed checks and loop functional tests.
  • Lead the start-up phase, supervising the safe and effective ramp-up to operational status, including conducting performance tests to validate plant outputs.
  • Develop and execute detailed testing procedures for systems integration, including loop functional tests and sequence integrations.
  • Oversee the setup and troubleshooting of process control systems, particularly PCS7 on HMI interfaces, ensuring optimal configuration and operation.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership across various disciplines at the site, such as instrumentation, PLC programming, construction, and management of rotating machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Extensive experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of process plants, specifically with Hydrogen, Air Separation Units, LNG, NGL, or Steam Reformers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in various on-site engineering disciplines, including instrumentation, PLC programming, construction, and rotating machinery.
  • Proficiency in PCS7 and other HMI interfaces, with the ability to lead loop checks and functional testing phases.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise subcontractors and coordinate activities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the capability to instruct and guide diverse international teams.
