RESPONSIBILTIES

Quality Management & Mechanical Completion Management:

  • You will oversee all inspection notifications, taking timely actions to ensure accurate information sharing and participation of required stakeholders according to inspection and test plans.
  • You will coordinate and conduct multidisciplinary quality walkdowns with discipline superintendents and contractors, resolving quality issues efficiently and documenting them where necessary.
  • You will advise and support the site team and contractors in preparing and compiling inspection and test reports, check records, and related documentation.
  • You will ensure that contractors and site superintendents are familiar with relevant quality requirements and collaborate with site management to address any knowledge gaps.
  • You will review inspection readiness to facilitate smooth and effective walkdowns with clients and contractors.
  • You will guide the use of the Integrated Completion Management (ICM) module in the construction management system (CMS).
  • You will assist in compiling construction as-built documentation aligned with mechanical completion milestones.
  • You will deliver comprehensive and professional reporting on mechanical completion progress and the resolution of punch points to site management
  • You will lead meetings with clients and contractors, maintaining professionalism and ensuring accurate documentation through detailed minutes.
  • You will supervise and coordinate the activities of the Mechanical Completion (MC) team, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making processes.

Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • You will monitor construction site activities and temporary facilities, ensuring compliance with occupational health and environmental protection regulations as per project-specific HSE programs.
  • You will verify the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel on site.
  • You will propose and support the implementation of HSE improvements for construction and commissioning activities.

Additional Operational Tasks:

  • You will establish project-specific MC procedures, manage the MC site organization team, and ensure effective communication with clients regarding MC processes and handovers.
  • You will oversee the development and implementation of MC documentation, including inspection test plans (ITPs), punch point catalogs, and completion schedules.
  • You will provide detailed progress reports, analyze completion statuses, and manage punch item resolutions to meet critical project milestones.
  • You will ensure that all documentation required for construction completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning is filed and aligned with legal, client, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATION

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Foundational knowledge across all technical disciplines related to process plant construction.
  • Expertise in quality management, assurance, control, and completion processes.
  • Familiarity with key regulations and standards, including 2014/68/EU, EN 13480 (Parts 4 & 5), ISO 14731, ISO 3834, and ISO 5817.
  • Certification as an International Welding Engineer (IWE/EWE) and practical NDT experience (RT Level II Interpretation, VT, PT, MT).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote) and a strong aptitude for database systems.
  • You should be proactive, collaborative, and accountable, ready to support site activities as needed.
