TERMS

  • The project is scheduled to start in MARCH 2026 and will run for at least 6+ months (with the option to extend).
  • Contract type: fixed-term employment or freelance project.
  • The position requires a commitment of 48 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You supervise and coordinate on-site activities related to distributed control systems and automation in close cooperation with site management and contractors.
  • You ensure the correct implementation, configuration and commissioning support of DCS-related systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • You act as the technical point of contact on site for PCS 7, virtualization and automation-related topics.
  • You monitor contractor activities, identify deviations or technical issues at an early stage and support their clarification and resolution.
  • You ensure compliance with quality, safety and schedule requirements within your scope of responsibility.
  • You support testing, troubleshooting and handover activities of automation systems during project execution.
  • You coordinate interfaces between automation systems and other disciplines involved in the project.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (m/w/d), Automation Engineering (m/w/d), Control Engineering (m/w/d) or a comparable technical qualification.
  • You have solid professional experience as a DCS Supervisor, Automation Engineer or in a comparable role within industrial projects.
  • You have expert knowledge of Siemens PCS 7 and are experienced in working with Simatic Manager.
  • You are familiar with Siemens SiVaaS virtualization concepts and their application in industrial automation environments.
  • You have practical experience with WinCC and the use of APL with CMTs, ideally within a Linde library environment.
  • You have sound knowledge of Profinet communication and Modbus communication.
  • You ideally have experience with TIA Portal and Orbit 60.
  • You ideally hold a certification for safety programming using Siemens F-Systems.
  • You are fluent in English and are able to communicate confidently in an international project environment.
  • You ideally have German language skills.
