YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

TEICON ENGINEERING is currently hiring for a large-scale industrial process plant construction project in the Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan area. We are seeking site-based professionals for immediate engagement to support active execution activities within a complex industrial environment.

  • Project Location: Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan area, Texas
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or independent contractor (1099)
  • Duration: Up to one year, with the option to extend

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You review, assess and govern integrated project schedules submitted by EPC contractors and subcontractors in line with contractual requirements and execution strategy.
  • You analyze schedule performance with regard to critical path development, delays, negative float, logic integrity and schedule risks.
  • You evaluate baseline schedules, schedule updates and revisions and provide structured recommendations for approval or rejection.
  • You assess schedule impacts resulting from scope changes, variations and execution deviations and support change management processes.
  • You review and evaluate Time Impact Analyses and schedule-related claims and support claim assessment and contractual correspondence.
  • You prepare structured schedule analyses, reports and management-ready dashboards for site management, project leadership and client representatives.
  • You act as an interface between EPC contractor, client and project management regarding schedule status, risks and mitigation measures.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a completed academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a comparable technical discipline.
  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience in project controls, schedule controlling or project scheduling within industrial EPC projects.
  • You have proven experience working on both EPC contractor side and client side.
  • You demonstrate strong expertise in schedule analysis, critical path method, delay analysis, Time Impact Analysis and schedule governance.
  • You are an advanced user of Primavera P6 and Excel.
  • You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working in an international EPC project environment.
