TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Start Date: April 2026
  • Duration: Minimum 20 months, with possibility of extension
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract 
  • Workload: 56 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage subcontracting processes with support from the subcontract engineers.
  • Apply best practices in procurement and subcontracting to maximize value.
  • Establish and maintain subcontracting strategies, concepts, and relevant project specifications.
  • Adhere to functional procedures and ensure timely communication on subcontract issues with the Project and Site Managers.
  • Coordinate subcontracting activities both internally and externally.
  • Recognize and mitigate potential liabilities, risks, and disputes with external parties.
  • Understand and communicate the finer details of contracts for the wider project team.
  • Keep track of key contractual documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Uphold the company's code of conduct and model exemplary management behavior.
  • Foster continuous improvement within the team, while also mentoring junior team members.
  • Oversee cost estimates, manpower planning, performance indicators, and work breakdown structures.
  • Participate actively in project meetings and manage subcontractor selection based on client and internal requirements.
  • Handle correspondence, negotiate with subcontractors on Variation Order Requests (VOR), and assist in Change Orders for Contract Management.
  • Maintain monthly records in iTwo via rib-software, review invoices, and ensure smooth communication with site personnel.
  • Finalize project documentation, including Close-Out Reports and release subcontractors from obligations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in both Polish and English.
  • 5+ years of experience in subcontracting or a similar field.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient with specific software, e.g., "iTwo via rib-software" or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and implement contractual terms and conditions.
  • Proven track record of effective team leadership and mentorship.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
