TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Duration: Minimum 8 months, with the possibility of extension
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
  • Workload: 56 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate all insulation activities on site in accordance with contractual requirements and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate continuously with site management, contractors, and third parties to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and ensure proper implementation of project-specific HSE requirements.
  • Review work permits, ensure compliance, and enforce correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identify deviations and risks, and ensure proper documentation and resolution.
  • Support incident investigations and contribute to the implementation of preventive measures.
  • Identify, document, and analyze construction and engineering deficiencies and coordinate effective solutions with relevant disciplines.
  • Participate in construction and project meetings and provide technical input in client discussions.
  • Review contractor progress reports, support cost forecasting, and contribute to monthly reporting on progress, quality, and resources.
  • Monitor construction activities, perform spot checks, and support the acceptance of contractual work scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements while coordinating interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Support change management processes and ensure proper documentation of contractual deviations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed vocational training as an insulation worker, industrial insulation specialist, plant mechanic, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in insulation on international construction sites, ideally 10 to 15 years in similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical specifications, and applicable standards in plant engineering.
  • High level of responsibility combined with a structured and solution-oriented working approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an international project environment.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Clear commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work under demanding site conditions with extended working hours.
  • Spanish language skills are advantageous but not mandatory, with strong English communication skills required.
