TERMS / CONDITIONS

  • Start Date: May 2026
  • Duration: Minimum 3 months, with the possibility of extension
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
  • Workload: 56 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You oversee and coordinate all site supervision activities related to your assigned discipline and align them with site management, contractors and involved third parties.
  • You ensure compliance with project-specific HSE requirements by checking work permits, monitoring site activities, verifying the use of personal protective equipment and supporting the implementation and effectiveness of safety measures.
  • You support site management, construction management and contractors in coordinating disciplines and addressing HSE-related topics on site.
  • You identify, document and follow up on occupational health, safety and environmental deviations and contribute to incident investigations and reporting.
  • You analyse construction and engineering deficiencies on site, coordinate their resolution with the responsible disciplines and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and documentation.
  • You participate in construction and client meetings as required by site management.
  • You review contractor progress reports and support the evaluation of monthly cost forecasts.
  • You contribute to monthly site reporting including HSE, progress, manpower, equipment, quality and engineering documentation.
  • You interpret contractual requirements, specifications and construction standards towards contractors and the client.
  • You monitor construction activities, ensure compliance with contracts and specifications and coordinate interfaces between disciplines.
  • You supervise painting and coating activities on site and ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • You identify and resolve construction issues, evaluate deviations and support change management processes where required.
  • You perform regular site inspections, including dimensional spot checks, and support acceptance of contractor work within your discipline.
  • You ensure compliance with project standards, proper handover of work areas and correct documentation and filing of project records.
  • You coordinate and supervise the clearance of punch list items by contractors within your scope.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d), Civil Engineering (m/f/d), Process Engineering (m/f/d) or Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) or alternatively a qualification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or master craftsman (m/f/d) in a relevant discipline.
  • You have solid experience in site supervision or construction management within industrial or plant engineering projects.
  • You demonstrate experience in supervising painting and coating works on construction sites and ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
  • You demonstrate sound knowledge of construction processes, contractual requirements and technical standards.
  • You are familiar with HSE requirements on construction sites and are able to support their implementation in daily operations.
  • You work in a structured and independent manner and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders on-site.
  • You communicate clearly with contractors, site management and project teams and represent your discipline professionally.
  • Spanish-language skills are advantageous but not mandatory, and strong English communication skills are required.
