YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

In this role, you will support our client, one of the world's leading industrial gases and engineering companies, in the execution of a major international construction project.

At the Tarragona site, large-scale process modules and superstructures for the production of methane and ethylene are being fabricated as part of a new industrial gas production facility. Following completion, the modules will be shipped to the United States for final assembly and operation.

  • Start Date: 14 September 2026
  • Completion of Work: approx. 31 December 2026
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
  • Duration: Minimum 3.5 months, with the possibility of extension
  • Workload: 56 hours per week, 6 days per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You supervise and monitor all site activities related to insulation works and ensure that the work is performed in accordance with project requirements, specifications, applicable standards and construction codes.
  • You coordinate insulation activities with the Site Management team, contractors, subcontractors and other involved disciplines.
  • You carry out regular inspections of insulation works on site and monitor the quality and progress of the executed work.
  • You identify construction and engineering deficiencies, document them and coordinate the necessary corrective measures with the responsible parties.
  • You monitor contractors’ compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications and applicable standards.
  • You participate in regular construction meetings and, where required, in meetings with the client.
  • You review contractors’ daily progress reports and contribute to project reporting regarding progress, manpower, equipment, quality and areas of concern.
  • You coordinate interfaces between insulation activities and other disciplines on site.
  • You support the Site Management team in resolving construction-related issues and contractual deviations.
  • You participate in inspections and acceptance activities for the contractual scope of insulation works.
  • You coordinate and supervise the clearance of punch points within the insulation discipline.
  • You ensure the proper handover of completed work areas and the correct filing of relevant project documentation.
  • You monitor compliance with project-specific HSE requirements, including work permits, protective measures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • You support contractors and the Site Management team in HSE matters and contribute to the identification and elimination of unsafe conditions or deficiencies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have relevant professional experience in the supervision of insulation works on industrial construction sites.
  • You have experience in coordinating contractors and monitoring construction activities regarding quality, progress, HSE requirements and compliance with project specifications.
  • You are familiar with construction documentation, inspection activities, punch-point management and the handover of completed works.
  • You are able to work effectively with Site Management, contractors, clients and other technical disciplines.
  • You have a structured, independent and safety-conscious working approach.
  • A NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector certificate or FROSIO Level 2 Coating Inspector certificate would be advantageous, but is not mandatory.
