YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

TEICON ENGINEERING is currently recruiting for a large-scale greenfield semiconductor facility construction project in Phoenix, Arizona. We are seeking a highly experienced Site Scheduler to take a key role in managing, coordinating and controlling complex construction schedules and subcontractor activities on site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary scheduling activities, ensuring effective coordination between subcontractors and maintaining alignment with overall project milestones. Due to the complexity and scale of the project, this position requires a high level of technical expertise, strong analytical capabilities and the ability to independently manage challenging scheduling interfaces and critical construction sequences.

  • Start Date: January 2027
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or independent contractor (1099)
  • Duration: 2–3 years
  • Location: Phoenix, Arizona

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You develop, maintain and continuously update detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and key milestones.
  • You take responsibility for coordinating and controlling subcontractor schedules across multiple construction disciplines, ensuring that all activities are properly integrated into the overall project schedule.
  • You oversee complex scheduling interfaces between Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines to ensure efficient construction sequences and minimize potential conflicts.
  • You monitor construction progress against approved baseline schedules, identify critical path deviations and evaluate their potential impact on project execution.
  • You independently analyze scheduling risks, potential delays and construction constraints and develop effective mitigation and recovery strategies in cooperation with Construction Management.
  • You review and challenge subcontractor schedules, evaluating their feasibility, logical dependencies, resource requirements and alignment with overall project priorities.
  • You develop and implement comprehensive progress measurement systems to accurately assess construction performance and provide reliable schedule forecasts.
  • You coordinate short-term and long-term scheduling activities, ensuring that construction priorities, subcontractor commitments and project milestones remain aligned.
  • You perform critical path analyses, schedule impact assessments and scenario evaluations to support informed decision-making and proactive project control.
  • You collaborate closely with Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls and subcontractors to resolve complex scheduling issues and optimize construction workflows.
  • You participate in project coordination meetings, progress reviews and schedule discussions, providing technical scheduling expertise and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • You prepare detailed progress reports, schedule forecasts and management presentations, highlighting critical activities, schedule deviations, potential risks and required corrective actions.
  • You support the integration of construction, mechanical completion and commissioning schedules to ensure a coordinated transition between the different project phases.
  • You proactively identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You have at least five years of relevant professional experience in construction scheduling and project controls, ideally bringing 10–15 years of experience in complex industrial construction or large-scale greenfield projects.
  • You have proven experience managing complex construction schedules throughout all project phases, from initial civil works through mechanical completion and commissioning.
  • You possess comprehensive knowledge of multidisciplinary construction activities, particularly in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
  • You demonstrate advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and have extensive experience developing, maintaining and analyzing integrated construction schedules.
  • You have a strong understanding of critical path methodologies, schedule logic, construction sequencing and the management of complex scheduling interfaces.
  • You are experienced in evaluating subcontractor schedules, identifying inconsistencies and implementing effective corrective measures to maintain project milestones.
  • You have practical experience developing and implementing progress measurement systems to monitor construction productivity, evaluate performance and forecast project completion.
  • You are capable of independently managing complex scheduling challenges, anticipating potential risks and providing practical solutions in a demanding construction environment.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills and are confident in communicating scheduling matters with Construction Management, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • You are comfortable working in a highly dynamic project environment with multiple stakeholders, demanding schedules and complex technical interfaces.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodologies and their application in large-scale industrial construction projects.
